Nova
Scotia's Finest!
This
desirable island sits just off the coastline of Nova Scotia's
longest sandy beach - that of Martinique Beach.
A
short drive from Halifax and the international airport, Bayer's
Island consists of rocky shorelines, private sandy inlets, sheltered
coves, and forest and meadow land. Plenty of wildlife habitat
this island along with one of the largest bird sanctuaries in
Atlantic Canada behind Martinique Beach and protected by government.
The
79 acre island is also situated at the mouth of the Musquodoboit
Harbour and you can witness the daily fishing boats coming and
going along with the increasingly popular visits of tourists
deciding to sail their way along the Eastern Seaboard.
