House By The Sea
As
one of the oldest homes in the village of West Jeddore, this
120 year old character home sits on the water's edge. It offers
views of the open ocean from many of the rooms. With a great
deal of care and respect for this old style seaside home, many
updated renovations and a tastefully modern decor maintains
its integrity - while, at the same time, offering that modern
feel. Plenty of the original wood walls, ceilings and flooring
were also preserved.
While
enjoying a romantic interlude in front of the fireplace, located
in the living room, one can also enjoy the serenity that comes
with the views of the large fresh water pond outside. If taking
in the sun is your pleasure why not do it from the 17' x 12'
deck or on the small dock.
There
is the opportunity for long walks along the beach from your
doorstep or enjoy the trails that meander cross country to Pleasant
Point on the Musquodoboit Harbour side of the peninsula. These
trails have also been proven to be wonderful cross country ski
paths during recent years.
All
the necessary amenities are just a ten (10) minute drive away
in Musquodoboit Harbour with metro Halifax only 50 minutes away.
